Thanks to this extension, it is now possible to segregate user request and incident management between departments of a single iTop instance. It is very useful if other business units such as HR departments are managing tickets, in addition to IT.
A user can make any request in a single portal. Agents will only see tickets linked to their organisation in iTop Console.
This extension can also be used to split user requests between several service providers for different customers.
This extension implementation might affect the existing datamodel. Organisations, services and users management have to be defined properly before starting to put this extension in place.
