You are using vSphere, VMware's cloud computing virtualization platform. Thanks to Data model for vSphere, your CMDB is enriched with vSphere elements not part of iTop's default virtualisation CIs.
You are going to be able to create or enrich a set of classes dedicated to or related to the vSphere environment:
Creations
Enrichments
For example, you can now store the UUID (see image below) or HostID.
Together with Data collector for VSphere it enables vSphere administrators to fetch in iTop the key elements of their vShpere infrastructure.
Virtualization Management and Advanced Storage Management features have to be activated to use Data model for vSphere.
